Heroes

NBC has a new show coming out this fall that deals with normal people discovering that they have extraordinary powers. This show has me more psyched than the 3rd season of Lost, and I haven't even seen it yet. If you're a fan of M. Night's Unbreakable, then this show looks like it's right up your alley.

For me, these kind of stories hit me on a personal level. I know it's crazy but I still have dreams that maybe one day I'll be hit by lightning or some alien pulse and wake up to find that I can fly or run fast or do long division. Don't you ever have days where you wake up and feel like you're here for some higher purpose? What if you are? What if you had powers that set you apart from others? Would you use them for personal gain? Would you help right the wrongs of this world and fight to balance out the inequities?
